"You will not be around, you will be here."

Ten points if you can tell me where that quote comes from.

When I moved my blog over here from pitas, I had intended to write more often. But I haven't really. My life is very mundane, and instead of writing about it, I'd rather escape from it by reading a sci-fi novel. But, seeing as how I am going to be in a writing class starting on May 8th, I figured that I ought to at least try to write a little bit to prep (is it time to panic about writing long papers yet?) for the class. I've kind of always liked to write, but I've never really written anything particularly long. Even in classes where I have to write to a certain page length, I've always come up short; then I turn it in and the teacher gives me a good grade on it.

That brings me to another thing, I've been thinking that I don't really excel in anything. I always intend (the road to hell is paved with good intentions, I know.) to excel, then after about 5 seconds I decide that it's too hard and settle for being mediocre. The only reason I get good grades in school is because my teachers are overworked enough that they don't look at things too hard.

So, that's it. For now anyway. Maybe later I'll write about work, but not until I've escaped long enough to clear my stress headache.
